- Its clunky, its slow 25 minutes and I still haven't actually downloaded the file and the splash pop ups offering your tour are extremely annoying as an experienced user. Get out of your users way and let them use your software stop being a PITA.
This new layout is horrible! I want the old one back!!! I have to uncheck a file after moving/downloading....wasted time! If I move/download more than one file at a time it goes into a zip file which has to be unzipped in its new location....wasted time!! The download/move/copy/delete keys are sooooo far away from everything else on the screen....wasted time!!

I agree. I hate it. Let me right click to download like before.
- The latest trends in UI's over-simplify pages render them almost useless. I like the earlier interface. The trend toward flat, washed-out colors/gray/single-color is plain ugly. How does it help productivity? Why are we going back in time? We have multiple core, fast cpus and video, why are we going to these plain, boring interfaces which hide everything? The information density on the new UI is very limited in functionality. More mouse clicks and scrolling are required, features are hidden or non-existent. Your effort to make it "simple" actually makes it more complicated. If I were accessing on a phone I cam see why it might be OK however I like to see options, I like choices and I feel the new UI is poor. Not everyone accesses your site on a phone or tablet. Can you provide an option to display the older UI, please?

Why did you remove the % used from the drop down menu? It's now so much more annoying to go hunt for it.
The old events log was VERY useful, especially when I am looking for the files I hurriedly uploaded during a client meeting- like I was the very day this new UI went live.
I see the old /events URL extension still works and formats to the new UI. How about making it a navigable option from Recents?I am using dropbox.com to navigate a directory hierachy. There doesn't seem to be a way to up a directory. I can use the "back" button but it navigates through all of the pictures and documents I opened in a directory leaf. There should be a way to move up through a directory hierarchy.
- Hey, dropbox.com has changed and it now takes more steps and more time to upload photos and share a folder. Does anyone know of a good data storage provider that is more sensitive to customer needs?
- Hey, I can figure out how to use the new web page, but don't see what benefit it provides. Looks like dropbox.com just got a new broom and checking to see if it works.
I like much of the new stuff, but miss e.g. the right-clicking and straight multi-file downloads.
I certainly like the new 'Recents' folder. It would be really great if we could have a 'go to containing folder' option in the file's [...] menu, for e.g. drag and drop of a downloaded and edited file from computers that cannot have the Dropbox client due to organizational administrative rules. I hope you guys can sneak that one in.- It looks nicer but I do miss seeing the file sizes.
Also I don't know how I feel about removing the old dropbox context-menu on right-click. I like being able to use the default context menu but sharing files now takes an extra half-second
RichardDBXHi Matthew G.10, quick note that you can sort by file size on the web by clicking the "Members" column header a couple of times. This toggles that column to display different information – one of them being file size!
