Dropbox folders selectively on different computers
On my home computer I have got lots of space for terabytes of data. However on my notebooks I have only limited space. Is there a possibility to selectively store some dropbox folders (but not all) on my notebooks. Is this possible?

first: this is the German forum - there is an english forum too!!!
second: if i unterstand what's your problem then there are 2 ways to solve it:
selective sync and/or smart sync
selective sync: exclude "objects" (files or folders) from your machine → this objects are "not" on your machine
smart sync: you can define objects (files or folders) to be local or only online → "only online" means you only have a placeholder with almost 0 byte on your machine

Vielen Dank für die Antwort! Zwei Fehler von meiner Seite: ich hatte nicht gechecked, dass das Forum tatsächlich Deutsch ist - irgendein Text bei der Anmeldung beim Forum war Englisch, das hatte mich dann auf English getriggert!
Zweiter Fehler: Missachtung des Grundsatzes: Handbuch lesen hilft......
