Hey SaintPierre_436 - thanks for sharing your thoughts on this with us.
I'm not sure if this would do the trick, but are you familiar with the file locking feature?
If not, would you like to be able to grant edit access to the content of a folder (so that they can edit the files inside the folder), but you'd like to be able to prevent them from moving or deleting those files?
Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

Hi Walter,
Unfortunately, file locking will not suffice for this situation. The end user who is causing this disturbance is one of the company's higher-ups and I have no intention of blocking him access to edits or modifications within a file.
I would love for the ability to apply custom permissions based on the use case. For this instance, I would want to apply a "Cannot move" & "Cannot Delete" to the specified user when inside of the target folder. That way they are still fully capable of editing, renaming, or adding files, but cannot move/delete what already exists.
