You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
I think this should be a pretty easy one - I'd love to be able to align text, particularly center aligned, but right and justify would likely have valid uses for a lot of people as well.
For my part, I'm a comic writer and since we use Dropbox for storing all of our production assets, being able to store the scripts there in Paper would be incredibly useful (rather than having to upload RTF files or use Google Docs separately) but the lack of being able to center text for dialogue makes this not really feasible.

One formatting option that I would love to see added, however, is the ability to right align text in tables. This would help to align numbers. I create regular finance reports with tables of figures. I would like to do this in Dropbox Paper alongside other related documents. (I currently use Evernote for these reports only because of this one feature.)
Here is a small example to illustrate. I would like to be able to do this...

I would be very grateful if you would please consider this small feature as it would make a huge difference to me in using Dropbox Paper. I would be happy to speak to your product management team about this use case if it would be helpful.

Actually being a UI & UX Researcher, I use dropbox paper for documentation, pasting images, and playing with layouts. So I like to paste or write quotes at the center of the page so you guys might know, how we vertically center align text. So I want you guys to work on the feature that allows users to center-align the text. (I know that dropbox paper is inspired by a clean white paper that can play multiple roles).
Also, add features to add shadows, or frames to the images we add to our papers in Dropbox Paper.
Adding my support for this feature!! I like Using Dropbox paper for share documents with clients and need more formatting options, most especially the ability to align text. The Google Docs integration just isn't as seamless as we need it to be in order to make the switch.

Yes, please, Dropbox. I mean this should be a no brainier to have text alignment. However, I understand everything has a reason so I am curious as to why you left this insanely common, utterly simple and useful feature out?
Yes, this would help a lot! Left, center and right align.
How to align center text in dropbox paper?
NECESSITY!! adding these kinds of constraints will improve this application tenfold.
as well as:
- Using an image to link to other paper documents (for use as go back or forward clickthroughs)
- Being able to move images above main header (maybe lock to top of page constraint?)
- Text boxes for adding new paragraph alignments.
- Background colour customization (including gradients)
