Apple Vision Pro Support with Dropbox.
Support Apple Vision Pro

Launch day Apple Vision Pro owner here. And Dropbox customer since 2015. Vision Pro is an awesome multimedia/cinema device so of course I want to access my photos and videos with it, especially spacial videos! Since Vision Pro has limited on board storage and there is no way for non-devs to access the on board storage by computer, cloud storage is the best way to store and retrieve data.
So if Dropbox is looking to sleep on this new device and wait for a couple generations to pass when it is more affordable and takes off more mainstream, be my guest. Apple is going to be training its significant user base on the merits of iCloud storage, while Dropbox loses competitive advantage.

Long time Dropbox customer, I would need to switch to another service if this is not going to be available on vision OS. I access basically my entire personal and professional life via dropbox through Files.app, I'm currently having to move things to Box or iCloud to access my Dropbox on my AVP.

Would love to see this happen. I’m going to be forced to transition to a different service if I can’t get Dropbox on Vision Pro soon.

Yes, of course Dropbox should be on VisionOS. It doesn't need to be anything fancy to start with, just basic support. Otherwise, it's just a simple decision to find a different app, like Box.

REALLY LOSING MY PATIENCE! Basic functionality via the iPad app is a simple ask. I am within a few days of moving everything out of my ten year old Dropbox into iCloud.

The question confuses me, did you poll users on how they use their iPads or Phone before giving them Dropbox Aps? The question implies to me someone thinks any headset is just for gaming. Nope. Anything I can do on my phone with my Dropbox files I could do with my AVP.
But to answer your question, I use it for light editing in MS word, reviewing photos, answering email where I sometimes need to include attachments, and transferring files to my AVP for offline use. Just like I do with my iPad. The one thing I don’t do with my AVP is play games.
I used to use Box, but switched over to Dropbox 6 years ago and never looked back. However, I note that Box has an App for the AVP. Maybe I need to reconsider.

I am integrating DevonThink in my Vision Pro workflow and I sync using Dropbox. Please have this available ASAP. I never use the app on iOS, but I really need the backend to work.

I use Dropbox to share word documents that I’d like to edit in Apple Vision Pro. Simply allowing the iPad app to work would be fine with me.

I find not so amused that an explanation for use cases are needed. Your whole business model is about secure access on any and all devices. This is a failure on launch of a very important device and I am actively looking to leave your platform for Box with the next few weeks. This makes no sense whatsoever.

I agree, at least allow the iPad app to work
I just recommended dropbox to be selected for our enterprise but now I have to recommend Box as they seem eager to adapt to new technologies
