You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
We would really really really like the ability to save custom folder icons in the Dropbox team space. I created some but they are only local to my device, and they go back to the default when Dropbox updates. Can we please have the option for custom folder icons that everyone on the team can view, and that don't get changed back to the default?

Thanks for replying. Most of the team uses Finder on Mac, so if they could be on that and on the web app, that would be ideal. We would be happy with either though! We would like to be able to upload an image of an icon for the folders. Thanks so much!

I feel you are struggling with the custom folder icon. Had the same issue on our team Dropbox. Fingers crossed, they will roll out a feature for shared custom icons soon! Meanwhile, try this ai vector generator. I hope that helps!
