Hi frankiegee! Did you choose the “Dark Mode” option from your web settings, or the “Operating System” one?
If the latter, you’ll need to make sure your OS settings are also updated accordingly and perhaps, also restart your computer.
If that doesn’t work though, I’d like to know your OS version, to check this further.
