Saving Paper docs to existing Dropbox folder structure/file-system.
Hi
A number of us have started using dropbox paper at work. We want to save documents that we create in paper to an existing Team folder but I can't see how to do this. Any ideas anyone?

I have the same question as many of Paper users.
It would be very useful to save Paper doc in "classic" Dropbox folder.
today we have to manage two Dropbox parts (Dropbox and Dropbox Paper) - not so easy nor efficient.
We use paper to prepare a meeting or to follow up a meeting. We also draft the main ideas of a projet
So it would be very useful to save these Paper docs with other files we have on the same project / topic.
At least to have a link to it.

Dropbox this issue is not solved. Fix it.

Dropbox Paper is bound to perish if you do not enable this integration soon. Having to switch from one to another is awkward, time-consuming, and very confusing for people who are not tech-savvy. It bamboozles me that you did not think of this when releasing Paper! Disappointed.

Wow I just realized people were asking for this integration since 2016 and Dropbox still could not manage to make this happen. SAD.

Dear friends from Dropbox,
First of all I'd like to thank you for continuously providing such an excellent service.
I responded to this topic quite some time ago, chiming in with the request of dozens of other users here of having a full integration of Paper and Dropbox folders. After that, I've read (only) one reply from the Dropbox team, saying that this was being looked into, but without a clear forecast as to when it would be available. Since then, you have remained very quiet about this.
Undoubtably there are technical and/or commercial reasons why you would give priority to the development of Showcase, or some of the other nice features that we've seen come into play over the years, but still I'd like to emphasize that the lack of integration between Paper and Dropbox is, to my feeling, becoming the elephant in the room. At some point you took the initiative of questioning users about the added value they saw in such an integration. I never quite understood that, as the added value is to my opinion so blatantly obvious that there is no need to write an essay about it. In the mean time, some of your competitors have been supporting the integration of note taking and cloud storage for some time, and I must say that the temptation of migrating towards another platform is starting to grow on me, because (and only because) of this one painful hiatus in your service.
So could you please give us a status, a planned date, or in the worst case just a clear statement saying you will never implement this, so that the outlook is clear and each user can decide for her or himself whether to stay with Dropbox or not.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

Stijn B. "hear hear" as they say in British Parlement.
I assume you are referring to Evernote ?
AnywayI am not going to switch to DB until this is integrated.

My DB subscription just expired, and based on the non-interaction of DB with its users, who in different threads have asked for this integration, I've decided to vote with my euro's and not renew.

Hey Dropbox Team,
here are another 7 people who would love to add Papers into Dropbox folders. The duplicate folder structures do drive us a bit mad.
Especially when we have written content (Paper) that is clearly attached to other files.
For example: A video script that we collaborate on in Paper, plus all video production files. That should all be in the same folder structure.
Thanks for listening

So it has been around two years and you can't have a DropBox paper document in a team folder?

I prefer Stijn's approach, but I share Adam's feelings. While this is a technical hurdle, thought should be put into the user experience. I simply do not use Paper because it would be a place where I would lose content if it is yet another bucket.
