Saving Paper docs to existing Dropbox folder structure/file-system.

4 years later, how is this still not a thing?

Dropbox is great, my entire file structure is in it. It's crazy that I can drop docs or links from every competitor into the file structure, but not Dropbox's own product?

We use a Dropbox folder for each project, and need to be able to organize our Dropbox Paper files in there.

I would love to be able to save Paper files anywhere in Dropbox instead of only on the Paper site. This is the way that Google Docs works.

When working in a project folder on my desktop it is inconvenient to open a browser, go to the Paper URL and search for a document that I would have naturally saved directly in my project folder.

The team is currently working on this as part of the Paper 2020 release.

hopefully paper 2020 coming to us soon! is there a way to check ETA or anything like that with it?

definitely a very much to be expected feature, I assumed this was possible, until I realised this is a different hierarchy

Wondering - any update on this feature request? Frankly, it takes a lot of value out of DropBox to not have collaborative docs integrated with all the other files I store on Dropbox.
