A number of us have started using dropbox paper at work. We want to save documents that we create in paper to an existing Team folder but I can't see how to do this. Any ideas anyone?
If you can allow for the several step process, the scenario I tested works much like creating an alias in Mac OS.
Open a Dropbox Paper Doc and copy the "share link".Create a text file and paste the link into the text file. (make sure the link resides on one line without a line break or it will affect the hyperlink.Save the text file as a PDF and place it in a Dropbox folder.Open the PDF, click on the hyperlink and it opens the paper doc.Allowing Paper Docs to be easily found/linked to from Dropbox file folder structure would be a huge plus! Teams shouldn't haven't to look in multiple places for project files, when one should do. Please add this!
+1 on this resquest. so weird to have to manage paper folders seperatly. this means when i am looking at a project folder inside dropbox, i also have to check if this project has a dedicated paper folder.... also hard to explain to others!
same goes for showcases...
I decided to try papers today for the first time. I am so confused why it doesn't save to my existing dropbox folders. To me there is no point switching from google docs without that, it seems like the most important feature that papers could have.
Please introduce this!!!

- This is a critical feature. As others mentioned, it doesn't make sense to keep track of 2 different project folders. Paper should "live" inside of Dropbox, period. Definitely for Business users. It would be fine if Paper docs are only viewable within Dropbox folders on the web, and not in the synced Dropbox folders locally. That would still be a huge improvement!
This is insane that this is not supported functionality.

Yes, Dropbox Paper is amazing but I need to be able to save my papers directly into a team Dropbox folder.
- I agree with many commenters that this is a very important feature as part of using Dropbox + Paper to manage projects. While it is possible to have a file structure in each, this process complicates the management of folders and files, requires additional time to manage, and increases the possibility of duplicating work or losing track of files. It would be great to have an update on this, and what is the recommended solution from the Dropbox Team.
