Saving Paper docs to existing Dropbox folder structure/file-system.
Hi
A number of us have started using dropbox paper at work. We want to save documents that we create in paper to an existing Team folder but I can't see how to do this. Any ideas anyone?

Good question, and in all fairness, I was changing my entire operation when I made the switch. ( Element 9 Design to Just Front-end ). So, well, by in large, I wasn't dealing with shared folders. There are a few instances though, where there were Papers that were shared with clients, which at this point, I'm not 100% if there's a way to migrate the paper over keeping the shared people. For me though, since branding and everything was chaning, it's not a big deal to just sever the previously shared papers and start new ones on the new account.
Anyway ... the other thing I'd say, that has revolutionized my workflow this year, was Dropbox's integration with G Suite. Serious game changer :)
( Side note, what's with not having nested threads here in the community. )

unfortunately I am out of steam on this one - and coupled with lack of security for publishing the Paper pages outside to external users - this has turned me off Paper completely
so I am winding down my use of it at our organisation, and most likely we will be looking at another stack - sorry I really wanted to use this! but it's not even MVP yet

vza I'm with you. I've lost all interest in Paper and have only 1 client left using it. I'm working diligently to end that usage as well. It's been almost 5 years. Yes a new system is in the works, but we've seen no updates, no upgrades, no useful changes in many months. Movin' on!

Any update on integrating Dropbox Paper into the Dropbox files structure? I did do some training online recently and it was mentioned that this feature was impending.
It is the sole reason we have stopped using Paper - disassociation with our projects.
Thanks in advance.

vza TiffanyP15 what did you end up using instead? I'm at my wit's end with this. Thanks!

Yes, please give us at least the possibility to define the root folder, Dropbox Paper is saving the documents to.

vza and Bob R.4 I am now using ClickUp. There is a free version but I loved it so much I purchased business - and the cost is so low you can't pass it up anyway.
It has all the best of all the project management systems and I have tried too many to count. I will be honest and say there are certain things that I would like to see added, but the difference with ClickUp is that they are constantly making changes and improvements. Every Friday users get an email with updates that have been made that week. EVERY WEEK! And they have a real ticket system. You can't help but try it out considering even the always free version offers so much more than Paper can even think of - https://clickup.com?fp_ref=rsokk

slidedesignrBob R.4 TiffanyP15 (thanks for your tip! will check it out)
there are many products like that coming up, I've used Notion and like it a lot - however it is not a file storage solution, therefore I was excited about Dropbox providing both (alas)
if you want to be really cutting edge have a look at Fibery - these guys are really trying to re-define this with a very fundamental approach
