Hi, I’m unable to log into my Dropbox account. When I sign in with the email I’ve used for years, it prompts me to sign up as if I don’t have an existing account. However, I have a paid subscription under this email, and my most recent payment was processed on 1/30. I have not received any emails about my account being deleted or deactivated. This is a business account that I rely on for daily operations, so I need access restored as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Hello out there - I will admit I fell for an incredibly sleek phishing scam recently, and it happened through Dropbox. My account was compromised, Apple thinks my email may have been compromised, and my login info for Dropbox was changed. Fortunately I stayed logged in on my desktop app, so I'm able to communicate here. Otherwise I would be locked out of my account with no way to login and no way to communicate with help agents or this community. Before anyone suggests I just do a password reset, it isn't working. Whoever compromised my account has made it such that no emails from Dropbox are getting through to me. Not from Dropbox, and not from anyone sharing files with me. It is as if someone has taken control of my account and is now intercepting all emails, thus making it impossible to do a password reset and regain control of my account. I have been in touch with Enhanced Support, but so far they haven't been able to help, they just keep telling me to check for and respond to their emails, which I'm not receiving. I can only chat through the ticket support on the help site portion of the website. This feels rather hopeless, short of getting on a phone call and a screen share with Dropbox, which they won't do for me. I have checked my spam and junk folders, I have allowed emails from Dropbox, nothing is getting through. I have never had trouble receiving them until now. A fairly reputable webmail service from my city was bought out a few years ago, my email address and inbox along with it. I thought I had backed everything up but my dropbox stayed on that email address. Can't provide the 6 digit code required for login. Help? I'm now using this email address. If there are any admins active, shoot me an email and I will provide more info on my account. I have used Dropbox for at least 10 years. In particular, I use it for sharing my tax info with my Federal & State returns. Much to my surprise, I can no longer find anything!. It is literally as if the Dropbox folks forgot I ever had an account! When I attempted to log in with my old credentials I was invited to "join". Seemed strange, but I plunged ahead and gave my name and was asked if I wanted to "upgrade." I said no. But it now seems I have a new basic account.... with no files! Dear Dropbox I am not able to receive the 6 digit code in my email. In fact, I am not receiving any emails from Dropbox. I've added no-reply@dropbox.com to my contacts. I've checked my spam folder. I've verified my address is correct. I have also verified that the email address can receive mails from other sources. I can also send you an email from that address if need be. I just need an address to send it to I have actually had this problem for several years, but it has only become a problem for me now as I have gotten a new phone and I cannot verify my Dropbox app on it as I am not getting the code. Good day, can someone help me? I has my drop box account for years, mostly using it when I was studding, now I have not been on my Dropbox for over 2 years, and when I logged in today everything was missing. I keep receiving emails that my dropbox is full, so I did not expect it to be empty when I logged in today. What happend? can Dropbox delete everything if you have not been on your account for a while? I am baffled. I do not have another account, only the one that I have been using for years.
