Troubles with moving an account from my desktop to a hard drive
Is there a way I can talk with someone to help me with my issues? I don't like using a "community"....it makes it very hard for me to understand. But since it seems like I don't have a choice....I hope this will work. Apparently I have 2 accounts....and I tried to move the account I have been using for YEARS from my desk top to a hard drive....but when I do that, it is the account that has basically nothing on it that gets moved. When I try to access the account that I use regularly, I get a message that says I need to log into a team account. I have no idea what that even means.
Unable to Upgrade it says I'm already paying for an account.
My plan suddenly downgraded to basic even though the card we have on file is working fine. No matter what device or browser I try, I am unable to upgrade back to the 2TB plan I have been on for years. When I try through the iOS app on my phone, I get a message that says I am unable to upgrade because I am paying for another Dropbox account with my Apple ID. This is not true, as they are connected. When I try on Safari through the website, I get a spinning icon and an error message on the payment page, plus a warning from my virus detection software that it is unsafe. I have the same issue on Chrome with my laptop. I am so frustrated, as now that I got downgraded, I can't even send a support email. I just want to upgrade, and I don't want to lose the thousands of files I have uploaded. What can I do?How can I backup my computer with Dropbox instead of iCloud?
Hi I have just purchased DROPBOX PLUS with the intention of backing up my MAC but when I go through the set up I get a message saying that I should "stop iCloud back up first" but when I look at turning iCloud backup off it says that turning this off will remove all the files from the MAC so I am confused and scared. Is there any guidance on how to move from iCloud back up to Dropbox back up for people like me? Many thanks Steve
HP Dropbox 100GB Promotional app is stuck when installing.
I have an HP laptop on which I loaded the factory image recently, and a 100GB dropbox promotion popped up on my notifications. I go through the process and it allows me to log into Dropbox, sends me the security code via email and everything, but when it gets to the installation step, it hangs. I can leave it for hours and it will never install. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue, and if there are any steps i can try to resolve this? I tried downloading the dropbox app from the website and installing it, but it seems to overwrite my promotional shortcut and never gives me the 100GB. Hello and thank you in advance for taking the time to read me. My client currently hosts the data of its 4 companies on a single Dropbox Business account. He would like to clearly separate these entities by creating 4 accounts, one per company. Is it possible to synchronize 4 Dropbox Business accounts on the same workstation? I'm having trouble finding a clear answer to this question.
Unauthorized charge for $119.88
I was charged for 2TB of storage on September 15th, 2023. I do not need or want this upgrade in subscription. Out of the 2TB of space that the upgrade provides, I have 1.9TB of free space. I do not need all that space and I never agreed to this upgrade. Please help refund my money and cancel this subscription.
