Logic Pro files disappearing
I got a new macbook (M2) and migrated from my old macbook (2019 intel). Initially I set all of my dropbox folders to online only so I could then manually select what I wanted to keep local. I have always kept my logic projects in dropbox so I never have to worry about backing up. For some reason some logic projects are disappearing from their folders. And when I sync locally they do not appear. Only the audio files, bounces, samples etc. folders remain. If I go to dropbox.com the logic project file is there. But when I download it and try any open it, it says it cant be opened! (See screenshots) I have a bunch of important work that I cannot access. What is happening here?

How can I backup our entire Enterprise Dropbox account?
We are planning to use Dropbox for our enterprise storage and file solution. We expect to have about 100TB of data across the world. For regulatory purposes and because the cloud is not a backup (at least from our view) wen want to have a backup of all the files. We need to be able go have backups for certain files 10 years back. We are using Veeam for all other backups. How do other companies handle this issue? I am thinking of two sulutions: Have a VM with dropbox sync and then backup the VM Use a Synology NAS with CloudSync as a backup Any other, better ideas?

Syncing issues between my Dell XPS17 laptop and my mobile and tablet devices
Hi, This is the first time I’m posting and really need some help please regarding synching issues between my Dell XPS17 and my smartphone, Samsung Galaxy.The problem is that the entire Dell XPS17 backup does not show up anywhere in my mobile Dropbox app....so since the Dell XPS17 backup does not appear on any of the mobile Dropbox apps.... I am completely unable to access any of the files of my laptop backup (using Dropbox Backup desktop app) on any of my mobile devices.And I need to be able to access all the files backed up on Dell XPS17 on my mobile apps (i.e. phone and tablet) so I can continue to do all my work when I am not in front of my desk.So I need everything from Dell XPS17 (that is backed up on Dropbox desktop app and Dropbox Backup desktop app) to sync with my Dropbox account (so I can access that backup on my phone and tablet when I use Dropbox to access the files on my pc (which is called Dell XPS17) when I use Dropbox mobile app on my phone.So it might be some sort of sync issue where Dropbox Backup properly syncs everything on my PC (aka Dell XPS17) but does not sync properly so that when I use Dropbox mobile app I cannot access Dell XPS17 files at all on my mobile device. Thank you for anyone that can please point me in the right direction or provide any help.

Why can't I access Dropbox Backup on the mobile app?
Hello, In the older version of Dropbox - Mac Folders such as Desktop, Documents, Downloads were automatically uploaded into Dropbox and accessible via the Mobile App. Now you can only Backup these folders and access them via the web here -https://www.dropbox.com/backup/all This isn't streamlined at all - I really suggest and hope that you return to the previous version where these Mac folders were automatically included in Dropbox and accessible by the Mobile App.

How to stop the desktop app backing up my pc
How do I stop the Windows App trying to backup my PC. There are no settings when I open the app, only my list of files in DropBox. Since I could not stop,this function, I just deleted the desktop app. If someone can tell me how to stop this problem, I will reinstall. Thanks for any help.

Using Backup beta on several win 11 systems, just found that App Data under the user account is not included in the choices for backup. There is some key data in App Data, including all the Edge Internet shortcuts. Why was it excluded?

Can't install from Download folder when DB backup is enabled!
After a fresh install of my MacBook Air, running latest macOS and Dropbox app I noticed I wasn't able to install apps with a .pkg installer. No matter what I tried, I always ended up with an error... After hours of searching the web, I ended up on this post:https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254600885?login=true&page=1 The offered solution of moving the PKG to the Desktop folder didn't work for me, but then I realised that my Desktop folder is also marked to be backed up by Dropbox... after I moved the .pkg installer to a place outside of the reach of Dropbox back up it let me finally install it... I didn't liked the idea of moving my backup folders to a secret place and replacing them with shortcuts, and it disabled to ability to receive AirDrop files, but now it also doesn't allow using .pkg installers from the download folder, I really don't like it! Can you fix both AirDrop and the ability to install .pkg directly from the download folder again? Thanks!

How to view Backup folder on DropBox app?
Greetings community! Previously, I used to be able to see my Mac represented on my Dropbox as a folder (I had enabled the backup option). This was super convenient because I could easily access my files on-the-go using my Dropbox iPhone app. However, due to a computer issue, I needed to wipe my MacBook Pro clean and reinstall everything (including Dropbox). I enabled backup for my MacBook. However, now, it doesn't show me the MacBook folder like it used to. So I can't access my files on the go. It shows me that I have backed up my files and I am able to see them through a web browser. However, the folder representing my MacBook (backup) has stopped showing on Dropbox. Is this due to some update in how backups work now for Dropbox on Mac? How do I get the backup folder to start showing up on Dropbox again. Thanks!

Dropbox Backup can't find external hard drives - Mac Ventura 13.0.1
Hi everyone, I've seen people have a similar issue but haven't found a workaround. I'm planning to backup a couple of hard drives using the Dropbox backup option. But when I use the desktop app (or try do this via browser) Dropbox doesn't show me the option to choose these drives (although they are connected and and show in Finder). Any advice for me?
