So awhile ago in October I made a dropbox Sign account so I could get my roomates to sign an agreement easier on a pdf. It wasn't the only way but this was the fastest way and I believe there was a free version, or a free trial that I may have signed up for. I could've sworn that I canceled this subscription but apparently I didn't and that's on me I guess.... When reviewing my taxes and credit expenses for the past year I came across 180 dollar charge in December. I was wondering if it was possible to get it refunded as I only made 3 or 4 signature requests during that one month. So I thought I canceled an e-signature subscription I only used once, but apparently not, and was charged. All the support online to cancel does not match what seems to be available. I can't seem to find the invoice or bill on dropbox, just the charge on my bank account. I feel like dropbox just stole my money. This experience may force me not to use dropbox anymore. I had a basic plan but got a message of “ Exceeded signature request quota”, so upgraded to the family plan thinking that would be sufficient & but I still got the message again when I tried to send some documents for signing. Message said the request is saved as a draft on documents and will need to be sent out manually after you upgrade. I have just been alerted of surreptitious charges for a Hellosign account that i never signed up for and this has been happening for years. I only use Dropbox as a free tool and am not sure how my credit card details were even obtained by this service. I need to be refunded and would appreciate an explanation on how this has happened as I have seen other support requests here that claim the same thing going back to before 2020.
