My entire Dropbox account has been deleted after sharing with another user
I joined another Dropbox account for a project, and unshared after the project was over. This appeared to just permissions system, but now all my files and folders have been deleted. After looking at my payments, it appears my last monthly payment was refunded. I'm not sure what the hell happened, but it appears my whole account was erased and I'm losing my mind on how this could have happened. Did I transfer my account over to a different user? Is this even possible? I need to restore my files and don't see any way to access anyone by phone. Any help would be appreciated!
The Dropbox folder in File Explorer on my office PC is slow.
Hallo, whenever I opena folder or a file on Dropbox from File Explorer, it always takes a lot of time, about one minute. If I do the same form an app, example open a file fron Word or Excel, both folders and files open quickly. This appens on my office PC only. From iPad, iPhone or home PC it works normally. I still tried to uninstall and reinstalla Dropbox, but nothing changes. Some suggestion, please? Than You. Fabio.
Search and sort through images with facial recognition
I’m in my final year of high school and my cohort has started a Dropbox to compile everyone’s photos for the whole year. I think it would be really cool to be able to say find all the photos of me, or the photo of me and Person A. Similar of like how you can search by people on the Apple photos app. We have hundreds of photos and sorting through them is tedious. I think this could be a really cool idea.
Online-only not working in Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon version)
Recently I went back to Dropbox having read that it now works with Snapdragon Windows versions, but currently I have a significant issue. I cannot have any online-only file in my SP11, thus I cannot have all Dropbox files in my device. I have this in the main DP screen: Then I go to "Manage hard disk space", select folders and make online-only. In less than a second I get the message they are online-only, but they aren't. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance.
Ability to delete files from the Signatures tab and see which team members can access them.
Dropbox signature feature - the long list of signed files on this page on dropbox.com is not transparent enough. There's no clear way to tell quickly and easily who has permission to view these files. This can be worrying for an Admin! Also, I can't delete / remove these files. When I click on the 3 dots I can only download and preview. Dropbox support confirmed the only way to delete the file is to open each one and delete from there. This is not practical with hundreds of documents being signed. We need to be able to clear / tidy this list easily - bulk delete would be awesome. Thank you.
I downgraded my team, and now I'm missing my files.
I recently downgraded my team account to a free account. I chatted with customer service and they assured me all my files would remain. Now I've downgraded and most of my files are gone. I can't access customer support anymore as I only have a free account. Does anyone know how to contact them? This is why we downgraded our account, customer service, even with a paid account was so hard to access.
My account is full but I don't see any files when I log into the website
hi there! I am back on this old laptop and I have notification that my dropbox is full. However, when I log in to the site, there are no files to view! do I need a subscription in order to view / gain access to those files? if not, how to I find those files without a subscription? if not, how is it exceeding capacity when there are no files to view? Thanks in advance for your input!
