Can’t edit Excel .xlsx in iphone (app is updated)
Hi, I hope someone can help me out. My iphone app version is 322.2.2 And I am trying to edit through ny iphone app an excel document (which I created on my Mac and is saved as an .xlsx. I click on rhe doc and then click “open” (which is in a gray box at the bottom) but I dont get the editing (pencil icon) option after that, I Can only share, save to Files ot print. I used to edit my documentes right there and the changes would be made so that when I accesed the document again either from Mac, ipad or iphone, the changes where up to date Hope someone can help me out 🙂Solved15KViews2likes16Comments
Editing Word document on Android mobile
I am able to edit Excel files stored in Dropbox; however, Word documents say Read Only and state I need to say a copy of my original file to be able to edit it. I can't see anything different in the signin information or app settings within Word and Excel. Microsoft Word documents won't sync
Hi! Microsoft Word documents won't sync for me (I'm using a Mac). I've used Word and Dropbox for years and never had this problem before. I got a new computer recently and it all worked fine for the first week, and then yesterday Word just stopped synching. I open a document, work in it, and when I save, it saves to the hardrive but it won't sync--the red x icon appears. All other file types are syncing just fine, including Microsoft Excel. I've tried restarting all the programs and the computer and I reinstalled Word. The strangest part is if I close the document and change the filename in finder, then it will sync. It does take longer though than if I do it with any other file type. Or if I am in a document, do a "save as" and change the filename, the new file will sync. But if I'm working in a file and just hit save, it will save to my hardrive but it won't sync. I'm an editor and this is a huge problem for my workflow. Any suggestions? I'm having trouble with saving a few files to Dropbox. It's installed on my PC. I create the file and save it in my Dropbox file, as I have done for the last few years I've used Dropbox. When I open my files, the new Dropbox files are not appearing. My old files are still there, but the new ones I just saved are not there. I reopened both Word and PowerPoint (I used both programs to create recent documents) and resaved teh files. It even asked me if I wanted to replace my copy of the file, so the computer thinks it was already saved. But once I go to open the file in the folder, the file is not there. Cannot edit word document on iPhone Microsoft word app

I see an older version of my Excel files - how can I get the latest one?
I have 2 excel files that I had saved on my dropbox account. This week I received a new laptop from work and when I opened the files they are a version from several months ago.
