Hi there. I've just recieved an email asking me to complete my setup of Dropbox, despite my having used Dropbox for a lot of years now. I've opened my Dropbox client and see nothing untoward and no notifications there. The email came from no-reply@dropbox.com and looks legit enough. I've provided a screenshot. Anything that might have triggered this? Thanks in advance.Solved9.2KViews1like10CommentsHow can I clear Dropbox notifications?
I have two questions: 1. How can I clear Dropbox notifications? I am using the latest version of Dropbox on my iPhone 10 (it was updated recently). The Dropbox app keeps show a "2" on the notifications icon in the upper right of the Home screen. When I tap on that it shows 6 unread notifications. When I tap on any of the notifications, nothing happens. 2. How do I find out the version number of my Dropbox app? Hi Dropbox community! My name is Justin, a PM on the Desktop experience team. I'm hoping to learn more about your experience with notifications: what's working, what isn't working, what notifications you'd like, which ones you don't. We'll follow-up via email (you won't need to post your email below).6.6KViews4likes3CommentsNotification for two files "File is "online only file" to open it first move it into your dropbox"
I made the screenshot to show exactly what is going on. The issue is that this file and the other one are deleted, or at least I tried to. This notification is just popping up over and over. I tried to find the files in dropbox online and delete them but they are not there. I'm not trying to open these anymore, I had them on the computer the other day and then started to delete them and there was a sync issue. I unloaded then reloaded the dropbox app and these two notifications go all day. I don't want to turn off notifications because there are other notifications that I get that I want to see, the issue is for these files I'm not even trying to open.5.9KViews0likes20CommentsTeam members receiving emails inviting them to edit the folders I uploaded

Since the last update (when the Dropbox folder was moved to a new location), I have observed the following behavior. When I edit files with TexShop, the Dropbox folder in the dock starts bouncing, similarly to what happens with the downloads folder. I presume that some auxiliary files during the compilation of LaTeX get purged, so Dropbox (or Mac) is trying to bring my attention to that. Disabling folder animation as well as turning off bouncing of all folders from the Terminal with: defaults write com.apple.dock no-bouncing -bool TRUE did not help. Is there a way to stop the bouncing? Thanks a lot.5.5KViews1like6Comments
