Getting a 'not enough Dropbox space' error, when I have plenty of space
Everyday I get this (see screenshot) onMac Os when connecting any device to sync photos."Not enough dropbox space" - Mac - But I have PLENTY of space.. and I see it on both of my macs but not my iphone (which indicates to me a poorly written client on mac). Resolution: sign out and sign in again.. but that means setting up my profile again each time, choosing locations, and closing badges, and so on and so on - and this take a lot of time.. What's the real fix or workaround here? And why haven't dropbox fixed it. Why on earth would I buy an upgraded plan when something as simple as this fails to function correctly.. Other tests I've tried: complete uninstall / reinstall.
Email telling me I'm out of space and syncing has stoped, but I'm not.
I keep getting an email every few days telling me I'm out of space and syncing has stoped, but I'm not, and it hasn't. Dropbox works as normal, but I keep getting the e-mails. What gives? Screenshot of space remaining in my profile: Screenshot of e-mail: The e-mail is genuine and not, like I first thought given I know I'm not out of storage, a scam. Links go to the proper dropbox domain etc. What gives? Thanks, Ben.
I can't find my settings in order to send a referral to a friend
I have the basic plan, so can't run this issue by support. I want to refer a friend for more storage space.I'm pretty sure I do not have a "team" account, which I understand makes one ineligible to refer a friend and get additional storage. When I go to my avatar, there are no "settings" in the menu and thus no option to "refer a friend." Rather, I get "preferences" in leiu of "settings" and no ability to refer a friend. I think I've clicked everywhere to see if there is a work-around, but I can't find anything, and again can't ask dropbox support. Ideas? Hi guys, Seen the threads on this but still don't have a solution. I am using only 0.9GB of my 2GB but when I try to drop files in it says I need to upgrade. I also have adequate space on my laptop drive (not much - 10GB only for the moment but that's more than enough for the files) Thanks for your help in advance R
