How can I restore my files from a cancelled business account?
Hello i was using dropbox for years but i was idle for sometime and i noticed that i got message mentioning that : -------- -This a reminder that the Omgsys team is still in locked state. If Omgsys is still in locked state after September 27, 2024, the entire team, which includes all files, and admin and member accounts will be deleted permanently.There are 3 ways to get out of locked state:•Keep Dropbox for teams and purchase a new plan•Disband the team•Delete your team permanentlyPlease note that if your team is deleted because it remained in locked state, folders shared with people outside your team will be deleted shortly after September 27, 2024 as we’ll give external collaborators a heads up that the folders will be deleted. I got an email saying my account is closed. Can I recover my files?
I stupidly didn't realise that all my photos were actually saved in my Dropbox account only, and not on my computer. I received an email in October 2024 saying my account has been closed, but I can still log into my Dropbox account and see some files. If I upgrade my account again, will I be able to see all the other files? Or retrieve them? Cannot find files I thought I'd been saving to Dropbox on my old computer which won't let me in. Had to buy a new computer; on it now but when I login to Dropbox, I don't find my files. I was using OneDrive before, on my old computer. Is that the problem, or likely something else? I also understand that there are two versions, the web and the app? I tried the web, and nothing is there. Help! I need my word processing files back! Those are long novels, one in progress!

Hello, I’ve had drop box for many years, the free version. Recently I’ve noticed photos that were there are now missing! Havnt been deleted or anything, but they are gone and were 110% there… absolutely distraught, drop box was the only back up for all these precious memories. I had decided to try a business account trial to explore the security features and decided I didn’t need them so I went to cancel the trial and it deleted my personal account!! I’ve been a paid subscriber for years and I’m just devastated. How can I reinstate my personal account? For many years I have used Dropbox paper. Made hundreds of folders and papers. Now I have only 10 or so in my migrated section. First of all I had no idea something was about to happen. Maybe I missed mails? I have used paper recently without an issue or a notice that I should do something really quick! Now I have no Idea where to find my files. I have a folder 'Gemigreerde paper documenten' (Dutch) and there is not even 1% of my files. We are working in a team and maybe a college did the migration and I can't see them now? I find this update very disturbing! So dropbox, how can I get them back? Where are they? Thanks!I got an email saying I deleted many files, but I don't think I did such a thing.
I keep getting emails that say things like: "You recently deleted 69368 files from your Dropbox account. If you want these files back, you can still restore them until 7/10/2025. After that, they’ll be permanently deleted." I don't think I've been deleting files, so I don't know what this is about. Also, when I looked in Dropbox under the "Deleted Files" tab, nothing is in there. Please help, as I don't want my files to disappear.
