File requests: Option to edit both the name of requester and description
Hi all! It would be great if we had a rich text option when writing descriptions for our file requests. It would also be great if I could change the name that's sending the request so it can come from my client and not me personally. Here's an example where some line breaks and HTML markup would be super helpful!

Search and sort through images with facial recognition
I’m in my final year of high school and my cohort has started a Dropbox to compile everyone’s photos for the whole year. I think it would be really cool to be able to say find all the photos of me, or the photo of me and Person A. Similar of like how you can search by people on the Apple photos app. We have hundreds of photos and sorting through them is tedious. I think this could be a really cool idea.

Delete shared links in bulk
Dropbox you are killing me... you give me notifications that we have hundreds of links shared, but no bulk way to remove them. What's worse? While I can delete the thousands that I made over the last 3 years, I CANNOT DELETE FOR TEAM MEMBERS WHO HAVE LEFT. If you give me the warning there is a security issue of shared links, then have a quick resolution for it.

Make it easier to remove external collaborators on a Dropbox team
in our account, we currently have 89 external collaborators that I would like to remove. Each collaborator has on average 40 files shared with them and it currently takes four clicks to remove each shared file so 89 x 40 x 4 = 14,240 clicks. I don't have that kind of time or patience. Right now, I guess I just leave them and hope they don't access the files any longer. In the future, we just will not use the exterior collaborator feature - seems completely unworkable.

Add the option to remove metadata from files before sharing
Dear Meta Team, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to suggest a feature for Dropbox that I believe would greatly enhance user experience: the ability to remove or edit metadata, specifically location data, directly within the platform before sharing files. Currently, the process of stripping metadata requires additional steps that can be time-consuming and inconvenient. Implementing a feature to manage metadata directly in Dropbox would save users a lot of time and effort, particularly for those who often share videos and images. Timer when viewing shared files
I believe that Dropbox is a very good application, but I think they should implement something it lacks, which is that when you share a file and disable downloads for viewers, you cannot activate "offline viewing." What I suggest is implementing a type of timer for the file. For example, set a continuous usage time of two hours. If the user does not have it but uses it for two hours in a row or adding, when the two hours of use are completed, the file will be deactivated

Watermark automation without keeping the original.
I saw this closed topic: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-ideas/Option-to-save-watermarked-files-without-keeping-the-original/idi-p/766040 I want to add my vote for this, since is a nice improvement for our workflow. We use these folders to file invoices and documents in pdf format. I want to add a watermark on the file to show that the file passed trhought different steps of the accounting process. I saw that is possible to "replace the original file" when watermarking manually, but it is not possible using the automation tool. Thanks for reading. Have nice day. Can it be implementented?

Option to save watermarked files without keeping the original
We are product photography studio. Feature needed: add a checkbox for add watermark automation on folder and subfolder contents. Check box for "Save copy without watermark" or "Replace original". Now always we get a copy without watermark. Example: I need to show client a lot of photos in a big amount of folders and subfolders. And it works excellent if we do not need watermarks (we use share folder, disable download. But still client can download low resolution images with chrome "save image as..". If we need watermark, we create automation to add watermark to a folder. And as result we get file duplicates (with watermark and without it). So it makes no sense. Or we need to go thru all folders and subfolders and delete files without watermark one by one 🙂
