We are using Bluebeam Revu for iPad which connects with Dropbox. It used to work just fine, but a few years ago Dropbox stopped showing the full file structure within the Bluebeam Revu for iPad app. I've been working with Bluebeam tech support off and on about this issue for this whole time, but they still can't figure out what the cause is. This does not happen with their other users. When in the Bluebeam Revu for iPad app, when we go to the cloud connections, where it connects with Dropbox, the Dropbox listing there only shows three folders and one loose PDF file. We have MANY, MANY more than that which aren't showing. For some reason, Dropbox will not sync the full file structure. It had worked fine from before October 2020, but after that it stopped syncing and showing the full file structure with Bluebeam Revu for iPad.Solved4KViews0likes19CommentsScrivener. PC to iPad.
Scrivener and Dropbox offer this feature where you can back up your project onto Dropbox from your PC and resume your project on iPad and vice versa. I have backed up my Scrivener project onto Dropbox but there is no tutorial or article on how to open up my project on iPad so I can continue writing. Anyone have any answers for this?3.8KViews0likes1CommentIPad App - Offline Excel files won’t open without internet connection
Hi there, when I click an offline excel (or any MS file) in the iPad Dropbox app, I get an error saying ‘Can’t open Excel’ and that I can view the preview of the file but not open/edit it. Is there some setting I need to change in Dropbox or Excel to access offline files (Other than make them offline in DB) Thanks, Chris2.9KViews0likes19CommentsCan't open documents in native MS Word or Excel apps both on computer and iPad
I used to be able to open Word or Excel documents in Dropbox by clicking the three dots by the filename and choosing "Open in" and selecting "MS Word" or "Excel." Now, on my desktop computer, I can choose only the web-based Word or Excel, and on my iPad, if I choose "Open in" and click Microsoft Word, nothing happens. I have Word and Excel installed on both these devices, and I have a Microsoft 365 subscription. Does anyone know why I am unable to edit my documents any more? Thanks for any help.Solved2.7KViews0likes6Commentssyncing bluebeam on ipad not showing all folders

Greetings to the Community, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have been experiencing with the Microsoft Word app on my Android tablet in conjunction with Dropbox. Previously, I was able to seamlessly save my Word documents to my Dropbox account by selecting "Save As" and choosing the Dropbox folder. However, for the past month, this process has ceased to function. Despite diligently following the same steps as before, my saved documents are no longer appearing in the Dropbox app, Dropbox Web, or my Dropbox desktop application on my laptop. Essentially, my work is not being uploaded to Dropbox. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. Your expertise in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, Joseph2KViews0likes18CommentsEditing Excel live from Android tablet
I use excel live edit from a computer and laptop and it works great. I can edit on one computer and it updates immediately on the laptop. However, I have purchased an Android tablet and I cannot get it to work with live edits. What I have tried: - I have tried editing via the Dropbox app but that opens it in regular excel and requires Save and that causes file conflicts. - I have tried opening on Dropbox.com website and opening the excel file as the web version (which is what I do on the desktop and laptop). That opens a hard-to-read version of Excel but it's read only. If I want to actually edit anything it prompts me to open on excel which then goes back to being a downloaded copy that isn't a live edit. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for help!1.9KViews0likes5CommentsCan't add dropbox files from my iPad anymore
I have been using Dropbox for years and one of the feature I really like is the ability to import files directly from the Dropbox folder (on my iPad). For example, if a website is asking me for a copy of my passport, I would simply click on the upload, select the dropbox icon, and then choose the file I want to upload. But for the past couple of days this is not working anymore. It works fine on the laptop, but on the ipad I am getting this error (see screenshot below). I don't even know how to report this bug. Can anyone help? Is anyone facing the same issue?Solved1.5KViews1like3CommentsDropbox on Samsung Tablet but can't edit MS Excel files
