I am uploading files from google Drive. I just uploaded a batch of PDF's but not all are showing in the files list. The batch went over my storage quote (2GB). I am now at 124% of my quota. No problem, I will undo the upload or return files back to Google Drive. Can I do this? The options seem only to be "delete" or "Upgrade plan". But I can't access the files I just tried to upload. I also clicked (before upload) the "delete files from source after upload" option. 1. Can I access the batch of files that went over my limit that I just tried to upload? How? 2. Can I undo the action and return the files to Google Drive? 3. Were the files that exceeded the quote also deleted from google Drive? In essence, these files (not appearing in Dropbox) are now "in limbo" until I pay for an upgrade or delete files? (I can't move files now - because I've exceeded my storage limit. 4. Since deleting files now permanently deletes the files (and downloads are not an option (my hard drive hasn't the space). Moving is also not an option Dropbox allows.) am I stuck with having to pay for an upgrade ($18 per month)? 5. If I pay for the upgrade, I assume I can access the files in limbo (if they are indeed in limbo - I batched the upload so I don't know if Dropbox deleted them from Google drive). 6. Why does Dropbox allow for you to exceed your quota, then hostage the files that represent the overage, until you pay? Would it not be possible to stop the upload before the limit is reached? So customers can avoid being put in this position? That is, avoid being forced to delete files, or forced dot download them - which may encounter hand drive storage capacity issues (which is why we use dropbox) - or third, and short of the first two untenable options - be forced to buy a Dropbox plan? Wouldn't it be more up front and direct and customer-friendly just to say, "Hey, you're at your limit now, we've stopped uploading, buy storage to continue?" Can anyone confirm deny and or answer my concerns?5.3KViews0likes11CommentsUpDraft Backup storage in Dropbox
Hello. I recently created a free Dropbox account for my own website's backups. I use a WordPress plugin called UpDraft Plus, which sends the backups to my Dropbox account each week. After a couple of weeks I got messages saying that my Dropbox storage is all used up and my files aren't syncing. My developer told me that the older backup files will be automatically deleted to make room for the newer backup files, so I'm not sure why I've run out of room. He said the free version of Dropbox with 2G will suffice for now. Can anyone help?Solved3.8KViews0likes7CommentsHow to use Apple iCloud storage space to store and sync Dropbox files?
I recently bought a Mac with 256GB flash drive, comes with 5GB free iCloud storage. And I have a 1TB+ shared company folder that I need to get access, upload and download. Obviously 256GB is not enough space, so I purchased 2TB iCloud Storage plan with Apple for $9.99/Month. Now, question is, how can I take advantage of this purchased 2TB iCloud, store and sync everything in it? Because when I tried to change the Dropbox folder location to my Desktop (the Desktop is automatically stored in iCloud), it gives me error message like the screenshot below: "This folder isn't available because of a conflict with iCloud." Just to mention that I need not only copy and paste this 1TB+ folder, it also needs to be able to sync because it is a company shared folder, and I'll need access all newly uploaded files or making accessible changes for everyone sharing it.Solved2.2KViews0likes1CommentHow can I move my files from Dropbox to iCloud?

On my PC in the Documents Folder there are folders that are "Corel", "Corel Cloud", "Corel User Files", "Custom Office Templates" that are taking up space in my Dropbox which I do not want. How do I get dropbox to stop taking up space with these folders?Solved1.5KViews0likes6CommentsDropbox in Onedrive
Dropbox seems to be in OneDrive, and OneDrive forces you to choose whether to organize your files or increase your storage space. When you delete files from OneDrive, the contents of Dropbox are also deleted. Technical support is completely unreliable and I am in trouble!!!727Views0likes1Comment
