Is AI using files in Dropbox to train?
Trying to decide whether to upgrade my account and get out of OneDrive, to avoid having my files accessed by AI. I have been unable to find an answer to this question, unless there is a clear statement and verification that files are protected, instead of upgrading I will delete all my files and close my Dropbox account.
I made an email typo while setting up my Dropbox account through rekordbox.
I just used rekordbox to create a cloud link to dropbox when I created the Dropbox account I miss spelt my email and now it’s downloading my entire library to an email. I can’t access because it’s the wrong spelling. How can I fix this? You have no prompts to deal with this issue.Why are "BROMIUM" folders being automatically created within Dropbox?
Hi All, We have only just recently had a new folder automatically being created insome of our dropbox folders called "BROMIUM" which is supposedly for security purposes withnuntrusted files. We have a Sophos system on our computers for protection - Can anyone tell me how to stop these BROMIUM folders being created automatically? Thanks
Unsigned Executable Muddies Water on Security Investigations
On Mac, an unsigned executable can muddy the water on security investigations. /Library/DropboxHelperTools/Dropbox_u501/dbkextd Whereas unsigned executables are a big attack vector for Mac, anything that is in here could be the source of an experienced security event. All legitimate software installed by a legitimate company should be signed to avoid this delay. Signing it would make it not appear suspicious in an investigation and save security incident responders precious moments. Being unsigned could also allude to the executable having been tampered with. If there is a signed version in the original files and the unsigned version exists in the system, then that is a far simpler check that than trying to reverse engineer the suspected unsigned executable to see what might have been wrapped into it. Long story short, signing all your files for your app makes our lives in security a lot less frustrating.
Google Doc Migration will not work "Please connect Dropbox to the same Google account"
I have spent hours with Dropbox Text Support and keep getting the run around. I am trying to sync my gmail with dropbox and I keep getting this error message. I am using the same e-mail address as my primary and the one I am logging into. Google is even sending me a confirmation email that Dropbox was granted access to your Google Account. However there seems to be an error in the message. I even did this after clearing my cookies and cash. Is someone able to help.

Before moving the dropbox folder to a network drive on my MAC, the EXCEL VBA macro to Exportaspdf print option worked. (the excel workbook was open from dropbox). Now that the dropbox moved to a network location the same Exportaspdf code failed with and unidentified error. If I copy the excel workbook to my local drive and run it from there, the macro works correctly. Could it be a problem of granting access to the network drive before saving? if so how could I code the grant permission. Thanks
