There used to be a feature to view your pictures in gallery. What happened to that? I can't find it anymore :(. Something like this. https://www.google.com/search?q=smile&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi8zKKRhv_cAhVCrlkKHUF2DHoQ_AUICigB&biw=1536&bih=709Solved70KViews3likes32CommentsWhy are some of my Dropbox files not showing in File Explorer (Windows)?
I can view and access files via my phone and via dropbox online, but some files are notvisible in Windows Explorer (Win 10). The strange thing is that the files are actually there; If I open excel, for example, and select the file from the recently opened files list, the file opens. If I save the file, it will reappear in Windows Explorer. If I close it again without saving, it does not reappear. This is seemingly random; some files created at the same time appear and some do not. For example file-1 and file-4 show in explorer, but file-2 and file-3 do not. All created at around the same time, on the same computer. I thought at first that this was a sync issue, but the fact that the files can be opened suggest that the files are syncing, but just not being displayed. I have ruled out sharing issues as this is happening with documents that only I have access to and I cannot see files on the computer originally used to create them. I have ruled out file name issues, as there are no special characters, the only difference in file names is usually a version number. I have ruled out a deletion issue as the files can still be opened. I do not have smart sync, this is only a free account. Any suggestions welcome. edit: I am using build 52.4.58 edit2: I have just found a file that I can open via the program (recent files), edit and save, but still doesn't show up in windows explorer.Solved61KViews0likes24CommentsError 500 when attempting to sign in on the site

I've just seen the banner that says "The Photos page is changing on 30 June 2017 but your pictures will stay safe in your Dropbox account. Learn more". The gist is that they are removing the final remants of the Carousel functionality - which makes me wonder what the point was in purchasing it in the first place: "After that date, you’ll no longer be able to create or share albums on the web, or browse photos in the current timeline view. However, all your photos will remain safe in your Dropbox account." Even funnier, it says: "Creating a better photos experience We’re continuing to work on new photos and file experiences on dropbox.com. As we learn more about how our users prefer to work with photos, we’ll launch improvements to the experience." With these changes there will be no photos experience that is any different to normal files. If they remove camera uploads, that would be the last straw for me and I'll be moving to a different service.Solved43KViews2likes302Comments"Can't Connect...check your internet connection" Android error
Whenever I try to view a file someone has sent me, the Dropbox app in my phone (Android, Samsung Galaxy S9+) says "couldn't connect to DropBox, please check your internet connection". I have internet connection (I've tried it with full LTE bars and with full wi-fi), but it still gives me the message and won't allow me to view the files. I've gone to the "Apps" area of my settings and have made sure the DeopBox app has all permissions. Any ideas about what could be causing this?36KViews0likes21CommentsCan no longer host images using Dropbox?
I've been hosting an image for my PayPal checkout banner using the Public folder but today it is no longer showing up on PayPal. I assume that's because the Public folders are no longer actually public. I tried moving the image file over to another folder and set the permissions to "anyone with the link" can view it. I copied the link but PayPal is rejecting it, probably because the file name ends with .jpg?dl=0 instead of simply .jpg. PayPal requires that the image be hosted on a secure server; that's why I had been using Dropbox to achieve this. What can I do to make it work again?Solved35KViews0likes14CommentsFake activity?
Yesterday I uploaded a movie file to Dropbox for some friends to download. Immediately after, I decided to check from a browser that wasn't logged in, to see what it would look like for them if they didn't have a Dropbox account. I was shocked to discover, under “Activity”: “Patricia Johnson downloaded this file” and “Anthony Abate viewed this file” (neither name recognised by me): So, then I logged in to investigate, but only saw “Traffic and insights: See who’s visiting... Upgrade to Dropbox Professional to start tracking.”: Surely this isn’t a scare tactic to get me to upgrade to a paid account, is it??Solved33KViews1like12Comments
