Most file storage systems at least have a column with file sizes. The only way I can find in DropBox to see file sizes is to individualy view a file's history.Ideally, I want to see a sortable column of file sizes in the list view. A total size for the current folder would also be helpful. Is there some hidden easier way to show storage used by each fileor folder? Even the total storage "used"information is inaccurate since it combines shared storage from other accounts. This information would be more intuitive if displayed as "unshared", "shared", and "combined".Solved12KViews2likes14CommentsTrying to restore, but get "Too many files. How do I calculate the size of multiple folders at once? I'm trying to find the largest folders on my Dropbox, so I can delete them. I'd like to calculate the file size of all folders on my account. I can calculate the folder sizes one by one following the directions in this forum, but when I select multiple folders, the "calculate size" option is no longer available. thanks!Solved9KViews2likes19CommentsWhite Space Conflict

I find it incredibly frustrating that I cannot view images in a folder by grid. The idea ofcreating an album for each folder seems crazy -- especially as those folders seem to be on a per account basis rather than across our cloud storage. I find it frustrating that I would have to then search for an album in a non list way to view its contents, which with the 60+ albums I'd have to make, could become impossible quite quickly, when all I want is to be able to view the contents of a folder in grid view. If this is something that an archaic system lik Microsoft can offer, dropbox should be able to offer it as well.Solved6.2KViews5likes6CommentsHow to view size of Dropbox folder isn't working for me
I'm trying to determine how much space my "pictures" folder is taking up by following these instructions. However, they're not working for me. In step 5, when I click the ellipsis, I don't see an option to "Calculate Size". Are these instructions out of date or am I just doing it wrong? I've attached links that show what I'm doing. Thanks. I then login to Dropbox via the browser and wonder if that is what's causing my HDD space to go in the red? Can anyone help?Solved4.2KViews0likes17Commentshow to reset/format my dropbox storage
Hi, i encounter a problem with my Dropbox, its shows that it's 84% full although i deleted all my Dropbox context by the WEB interface. in order to resolve the issue - i did the following, w/o a lot of success 😞 1) i signed out from my computer and mobile applications 2) deleted all content from the WEB 3) signed in again to desktop and mobile, and verified that they are empty 4) checked the storage usage - still no change 5) went over other similar problems in the Dropbox community w/o any luck. my question is: how can i format/reset/clear all my dropbox content so it will show no usage? thanks ahead for any assistance and advice. -yaron2.1KViews0likes9Comments
