Error message states "Sorry, we could not find <filename>. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?" It has not been moved, renamed or deleted. Not all Excel files are affected but this is not the first time this has happened. I have 3 computers and all of them have this issue. I'm using Office 365 on all 3 computers. I would like to get a response from someone who has had this issue and how it was solved. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Why are my photos from iPhone suddenly imported as .heic files to Dropbox? This only happened this week, say on Tuesday (July 4th). Has never happened before. Now I cannot see these photos on the desktop version of Dropbox. On the Dropbox app for iPhone, I see the files (with the ending .heic) but I cannot open them and cannot preview them. What has happened and how do I fix this?Solved110KViews2likes15Commentshow do I transfer photos from dropbox to my computer and delete them from my dropbox?
I want to move all my photos/files from dropbox to an external hard drive, remove them from my dropbox without delete any photos by mistake or anything. This is to organize my photos and files properly, so I can use my dropbox as a temporarily back up for my more recent photos which is why I wanted to use dropbox as in the first place! There are several photos on my dropbox that doesn't show in my dropbox-app for my pc but I have a lot of old pictures there and I don't want to delete them, only remove them from dropbox and keep them on my computer. I have approximately 231 recent photos(on my phone) that I can't save on my dropbox because I don't have enough space. But I don't want to upgrade since I don't really need that much space. I just want to transfer them to an external hard drive via my computer. I'm not good in English, but I hope someone understand what I want to do and can help me!Solved107KViews15likes69CommentsProblem opening a compressed Zip File from dropbox, getting error Compressed (zipped) folders Error

I have had major headaches with the Dropbox desktop app ever since installing it. In particular, the Dropbox app running in the background has caused my computer and my Internet connection to freeze many times. It even prevented the Windows Task Manager from loading properly so I couldn't kill the Dropbox process--yet when I did after many tries, the computer *immediately* became responsive again. Therefore, I have prohibited any processes having to do with Dropbox from running automatically on startup. I assumed that this would reduce the Dropbox folder to a mere normal Windows folder, i.e. an unshared local folder that has my own local files in it but no access to files shared by others. However, I can no longer open even my own files that were created on this computer and never edited or used by anyone else. Even if I copy them to my desktop, which has nothing to do with Dropbox (obviously), if I try to open them I get an error about Dropbox. Naturally, not only am I concerned with accessing the files now (I assume I can restart the process and open them), but I'm concerned that when I am no longer connected to my employer's Dropbox account (my work with them ends at the end of May), that files that I believe I own will go randomly missing and be irretrievable. I obviously wouldn't be disappointed OR surprised to not be able to open others' synced files at that point, but I'd obviously like to have my own work saved for future reference. What is happening here? Is the Dropbox folder not in fact a "real" folder?Solved74KViews1like10CommentsHow can I view my photos like a gallery?
There used to be a feature to view your pictures in gallery. What happened to that? I can't find it anymore :(. Something like this. https://www.google.com/search?q=smile&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi8zKKRhv_cAhVCrlkKHUF2DHoQ_AUICigB&biw=1536&bih=709Solved70KViews3likes32CommentsWhy are some of my Dropbox files not showing in File Explorer (Windows)?
I can view and access files via my phone and via dropbox online, but some files are notvisible in Windows Explorer (Win 10). The strange thing is that the files are actually there; If I open excel, for example, and select the file from the recently opened files list, the file opens. If I save the file, it will reappear in Windows Explorer. If I close it again without saving, it does not reappear. This is seemingly random; some files created at the same time appear and some do not. For example file-1 and file-4 show in explorer, but file-2 and file-3 do not. All created at around the same time, on the same computer. I thought at first that this was a sync issue, but the fact that the files can be opened suggest that the files are syncing, but just not being displayed. I have ruled out sharing issues as this is happening with documents that only I have access to and I cannot see files on the computer originally used to create them. I have ruled out file name issues, as there are no special characters, the only difference in file names is usually a version number. I have ruled out a deletion issue as the files can still be opened. I do not have smart sync, this is only a free account. Any suggestions welcome. edit: I am using build 52.4.58 edit2: I have just found a file that I can open via the program (recent files), edit and save, but still doesn't show up in windows explorer.Solved61KViews0likes24CommentsError downloading folder through web client
I'm trying to download a large folder through the web client. After I click download I'm prompted to save a small file called unspecified.htm, which saves and then nothing else happens. I'm sure I've used this feature successfully before. Any idea what's happening? I've tried both download methods - click the folder and click download at the top, and right click. I can download individual files successfully. Tried Mozilla Firefox & Chrome,Windows 10.Solved59KViews19likes103Comments
