A tool designed to monitor real-time bandwidth usage for Dropbox users, aimed at preventing the maximum limit of 1TB from being reached. This solution sends customizable alerts when bandwidth consumption reaches critical thresholds (e.g., 75%, 90%) and provides detailed daily or weekly reports. This way, users can proactively manage their service usage, ensuring continuous access without interruptions due to exceeding the bandwidth limit.110Views0likes2CommentsPlease email receipts for monthly subscriptions
Dropbox needs to start emailing monthly subscribers our receipts each month. Instead of making us retrieve them from inside Dropbox. I’m sure many of us need the receipts to file away for our expenses. Why does Dropbox value annual subscribers by sending them email receipts—But not the monthly subscribers?58Views1like1CommentSend me emails with the receipts of payments when my account is renewed
As a user, I want to receive a notification email when I am charged that contains my purchase receipt (date, amount) in the body so that I can easily find and forward this receipt to our bookkeeping system. I want to receive it by email so that my monthly process is more efficient and simple. Currently, it takes more than 15 actions/clicks to accomplish what could be automated with a simple inbox rule. Current process: Dropbox.com > Login > Account (clicking face) > Manage Account > Billing > Three dots beside the relevant month > Receipt > Print > Save as PDF > Save > Rename file with date > Save > Open email inbox > New > Add sender/subject/text > attach > send.288Views0likes3CommentsI'd like Dropbox to send my receipt via email once my personal plan renews
It would be great if Dropbox could send an email UPON renewal of the annual subscription along with the receipt of payment. I understand that Dropbox sends a notification one month in advance when the renewal is due but that is not helpful. Some of us get reimbursed for the subscription and have to check manually on the exact subscription renewal date to get the receipt. That means unless we set a reminder we'll miss the date (and thus the receipt and the reimbursement). I suppose there is a minimal additional cost for Dropbox if they send a notification on the email once the subscription is renewed and that would be very helpful.616Views0likes2CommentsEdit or shorten the email address for the 'Email to Dropbox' feature
A simple solution could be making the auto-generated email address shorter. or allowing the user to name the email address The issue is the email address is so long that the computer system I am entering it into simply can't fit the long address. So I am sending it to my gmail account, which I am trying to have set up to auto forward to the auto generated dropbox folder email account. Gmail can not allow forwarding to an email until the email account owner opens an email approval link that is sent to the email account. Which I can not open an email in the dropbox auto generated email account so I can approve it.578Views0likes2CommentsBodytext of email as Attachments in Addtodropbox
Addtodropbox should have option for attaching Bodytext of email as Attachments. This also helps getting Verificartion code needed by Gmail to Autoforward to a email Address. Another way Around is likeFound a feature indocparser. Please see below how they do it:: Every document parser in your account has a unique and secret email address to which you can forward emails with PDF attachments. With Gmail, it is easy to set up a filter which will automatically forward specific emails to your Document Parser - all you need to do is to create a filter in Gmail and define a forwarding address for this filter. As the target, you would then just add the unique and secret email address of your Document parser. You'll find this email address inside the settings of your Document Parser in 'Email Reception'. You can read about how to set up a filter directly atGoogle support website. After creating the forwarding filter in Gmail, aconfirmation codeneeds to be entered. This confirmation code is inside an email which Google sends to your Docparser email address. Docparser is able to identify this kind of email andwill automatically send the confirmation backto your Gmail account. Just check your Gmail account one minute after creating the filter and you should see an email from us with the confirmation code. Enter the confirmation code and your Gmail forwarding filter will become active. If you aren't able to receive the confirmation code email in your Docparser inbox, the issue may be that your Gmail is set to non-English. Due to a limitation our app requires the Gmail the filter is being set up on to be set on English, so temporarily changing your language in Gmail to English and re-sending the email should resolve the problem. To recap, here is how to set up a Gmail forwarding filter with Docparser: Verify that your Gmail account language is English Create a forwarding filter in your Gmail account Check your inbox and receive the confirmation code from Gmail (can take up to 3 minutes) Enter the confirmation code in Gmail forwarding filter settings481Views0likes1CommentAutomatic email that includes actual files added to a shared folder
Hi, This is what I need I have access to a Dropbox folder via my Gmail account. A customer puts files there once a week. I'd like these files to be attached to an email and sent to my corporate email using from:my Gmail account. Note that the clients are not allowed to have Internet access so the idea is simply email the very own files (not the link to them) to the clients when they are added to a folder (by a distributor which for instance is to add new documents for many people subscribed to their company)1.4KViews1like4CommentsTo create a warning on Dropbox page when sync is stuck and waiting for an answer to email
I formatted my computer running Windows 7 and reinstalled Dropbox. The sync stopped and got stuck indexing files forever. Nothing worked, until I noticed a two-day old email from Dropbox in my mailbox saying that a new computer had signed in and asking me to answer if it was me or not. Soon after I answered "Yes", things started to flow. The idea is to put a warning message on dropbox main page saying that an email was sent and has to be answered in order to sync get back to normal. (I suppose that was the case)524Views0likes1Comment
