I cannot believe Dropbox does not support iPhone Live photos. Why??? I used Onedrive or Google Photos to upload my photos. and all of them supported live photos. I am always waiting for Dropbox to support it. Anyone can tell me when? I'm still using the Free plan until dropbox to support it.1.7KViews3likes2Comments“Couldn’t save content. Check your internet connection and refresh the page." on iOS mobile app
Running iOS 17.3, just updated. When I try to share content to Dropbox, I get an error message: “Couldn’t save content. Check your internet connection and refresh the page. There’s not internet connection issue; I’m connected. This is Dropbox-specific. If I use share to Save to Dropbox, that works fine; no error. This also seems unique to the latest iOS update, as I didn’t encounter it before that. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Dropbox, and simply re-starting. Neither helps.Solved14KViews3likes117CommentsCan we upload live photos through Camera Uploads?
I can see lots of posts asking for support for Live Photos. I feel quite cheated that I have lost the ability to see these photos. As someone else has also posted, I have little snippets of my mother’s voice and movement that I have lost forever and she has passed away. Dropbox offer a photo sync service which means they need to solve for Live Photos, they have been around since 2015 so it’s not a new function. Please prioritise a solution to upload and then restore Live Photos.596Views1like2Comments"Upload couldn't be completed" error when uploading a .mov 46 GB file from the iOS app

We use Dropbox to back up our photos when we travel. As we are traveling, I cull through the iOS photos on my iPad or my iPhone and delete the ones I don’t want. Sometimes I crop photos and edit them. When I’m finished, I open the Dropbox app and the camera upload starts. This has worked beautifully in the past. However, on this trip to Europe, it is uploading even the photos I deleted, and if I edited a photo, it’s uploading the original and then creating another copy with a -1 in the File name. What can I do to get this to stop. Why would it be uploading deleted files too. I don’t open Dropbox until I’ve done all the editing and deleting. Thanks for any feedbackSolved1.3KViews1like7CommentsUnable to select folders for upload from iphone, only files
I'm looking to upload a large collection of photos and videos from my iphone to Dropbox, but they're all stored within the Files app instead of the Photos one. I've added Dropbox to the Files app and have tried to click and drag the files to Dropbox but it says I don't have enough space on my iphone to do this. Freeing up the space isn't an option because it's a rather large amount of photos and videos, and freeing up space is the reason I'm trying to do this in the first place. I have attempted to use the uploading option in the Dropbox app itself, but it doesn't allow me to select folders, only files. And selecting each file individually isn't an option because we're talking about thousands of photos and videos seperated into a bunch of folders based on dates, events, etc. Trying to just copy the folder in Files and paste it into Dropbox only gives me an Empty folder, and when I attempt to hold click on the main folder in Files, click share and then "Save to Dropbox" the Download button that appears stays gray and unclickable no matter what I do. I have plenty of storage space available on Dropbox so that shouldn't be an issue either. I went with Dropbox because it has proven to be easier than iCloud for me to access and manage files related to school and work from my PC as well, but if I can't get this phone stuff to work then Dropbox isn't going to be an option for me.992Views1like2CommentsCamera Uploads not uploading all photos on iOS
I have recently noticed that not all photos from my Camera Roll have been uploaded during the "Camera Uploads" process. it seems that photos that I add to my camera roll from a message someone has sent me do not seem to be uploaded. I am now worried that I may have lots of photos that haven't gone up to Dropbox but I don't know which ones !! Does anyone know why not all photos are going up ?????????? I have an Iphone 11 Pro Max with IOS 16.1.12.6KViews1like14CommentsError message "couldn’t communicate with a helper application" when trying to move a folder
Hi, I'm trying to move a folder that contains folders with photos in it from my dropbox to Files App in iPad. Previously it worked wonderfully and i can move them just fine. But, now after i updated to the latest iPad iOS 16.1, i can't move folders from my dropbox to my iPad in the File App. It still works when moving the picture directly though but its a pain to create the folder manually my self. I've tried restarting my iPad, delete my dropbox and re-installing them, and reconnecting them all those stuff but still got those error when moving a folder. Any idea how to fix it? or is it a bug in the iPad iOS 16.1?8KViews1like47Comments
