Hi, I am new to the Dropbox way of life and have a question. When I plug in the memory card from my camera, the Dropbox page comes up to download my photos. I would like to disable this feature and return to the way things were set up before downloading Dropbox. Before then, my tool was the Microsoft editor. Thanks for any help you can offer...Mike in NHSolved15KViews0likes9CommentsI have to keep waking my phone up to upload (iOS 12)
I have an iPhone X with iOS 12 installed. I have location services turned "on." I am trying to upload about 1,000 photos to a Dropbox folder. Other apps like Google Photos will just upload in the background. There seems to be no way to get Dropbox to do this, so I have to keep waking up my phone. Is there a workaround? Is this a bug? Frustrating, as this will take days.Solved8.8KViews0likes4CommentsAdding Google Doc files to Dropbox Folder
I love this feature but it actually makes a copy of the document that is on Google Drive, which risks having people add edits in different places. Is there anyway to avoid this? Even if there was just an option to open the link to Google Docs from Dropbox. The only way to avoid this, it seems is to create the file in Dropbox itself first — rather than Google Docs.Solved5.6KViews1like6CommentsProblem with attachment in Apple mail
I work on a Mac Studio (chip M2) with mac os x sonoma 14.4. All my documents are synchronized in dropbox and I use the desktop version of dropbox I have a problem for a few days now that prevents me from attaching documents to emails with Apple Mail When I attach a document, apple mail indicates "download", but the attachment is never in the message. Although the email starts, the person receiving it is unable to read the document because it appears corrupted and weighs 0 kb. If I use Outlook, the problem does not exist. If i use another computer with Apple Mail and Mac OS X Sonoma, the problem does not exist. If I forward an email with a received attachment, the problem does not exist. If I save a received attachement and then I send a new message with this attachement saved earlier on my Mac, the problem does not exist. When I get an e-mail with attachments and I want to save the attachments, I choose the synchronized folder and it seems to save the files. Then when the folder opens, it is empty. I got anxxx@addtodropbox.com address. If any email is sent to that address, Dropbox saves its attachments to the Email Attachments folder in my Dropbox account. It works fine, except in one situation. In my Fastmail email account, I created a rule that automatically forwards certain emails to that addtodropbox address. I confirmed with Fastmail that the emails are being forwarded. Yet the attachments aren't being saved to my Dropbox account. Dropbox must have blocked the emails or didn't see the attachments. It works if I manually forward the emails, but not if they're forwarded with the rule. Anyone know why that's happening?4.6KViews0likes26CommentsI cannot upload Word or PowerPoint files to Dropbox

Hello, I opened a Microsoft Excel file from the Dropbox app on my iPad Pro and I saved it after I made changes and it will not upload the new version into Dropbox, it just says "Upload Pending". I tried deleting the Dropbox app and deleting the Excel app off the iPad and I tried turning it off and back on and I also tried switching to a different network and nothing has worked so far. Please help! Thank you!3KViews0likes5CommentsI'm not seeing all of my Dropbox folders after connecting my account to Epson scanner
I integrated DROPBOX with my EPSON RR-600W scanner. I have many options to save a scan, including DROPBOX. All I had to do was sign into DROPBOX in the Epson Scansmart application with my DROPBOX ID and password. However, when I go to store the document, the software only shows one folder, DROPBOX. The other folders in my DROPBOX do not populate. Does anyone know if this is correct or if there is a workaround? Thanks StevenSolved2.6KViews0likes4Comments
