Hi there Jagdish M.1 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please clarify your device's exact OS version and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
If the issue persists after rebooting your computer and quitting and relaunching the app, can you send us a screenshot too?
Thanks so much!

Hello Walter,
I’m using Ventura v 13.7.2. When I log on into my Mac, the Dropbox icon used to connect almost immediately. Now, it doesn’t connect automatically and when I hover the mouse over it, a message states “connecting” Nothing happens until I quit Dropbox and re-launch it from the Application folder. It then connects but the issue mentioned in my original message still persists. The Dropbox version is 214.4.5217. I attach a screenshot, as requested.

Hey Jagdish M.1! Sorry for jumping in.
I’m guessing the screenshot you sent us was taken after relaunching the Dropbox app, correct?
Did you have any recent OS/Dropbox updates, right before the issue occurred?
Other than that, are there any antivirus/firewall programs currently running on your device?

Hello Nancy,
Yes, the screenshot was taken after relaunching the Dropbox app. As I am not a regular user of Dropbox, I am unable to confirm if the issue with Dropbox started before or after updates to OS. I only noticed it in the last few days. I do have the Mac Firewall enabled. However, I tested it with being disabled, restarted but there was no change. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the clarification and the additional information Jagdish M.1 - much appreciated.
Do you happen to be running any 3rd party apps that could be monitoring your files somehow?
Could you try logging out of your account through the app's preferences and then back in? If the issue persists, you can also perform an advanced reinstall.
