"Error 403" - Dropbox says I "don't belong here" and is not letting me download my own files!
I log in with email and password. My files load. I can click on them and view them, etc. But when I click "Download," I get an error message saying: "Error 403 - it appears you don't belong here ..." and it directs me to "sign in" or go to the 'help center" or the "home page." But I'm already signed in, I go to help center, home page, etc., and there does not appear to be a solution to this problem. Help!!!!???
Followed a link here to dl a community file, and I get the same message
The person that generated the link did it incorrectly. You need to contact them.

The person sending you the link has done so incorrectly as Rich said. They've sent you a link to their account as if they were logged in.
They need to follow www.dropbox.com/help/167 to send people links.
