Saving photos to my iPhone created a new Dropbox album. How can I prevent that?
Previously when I opened a photo in a dropbox file and used "Save image" it would save the photo to the All Photos album on my iphone. Recently the same process created a new album named Dropbox and saved it there. Is there a setting to prevent the creation of the new folder and just have the photo saved to my All Photos album as before? Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for posting on the Community, Ronald R.7!
Just to clarify, if you go to your iPhone’s Library > All Photos, does the new image you just saved not appear there at all? Does it only show under the new “Dropbox” album that has been created?
Or do you see your image in both places and you’d just like to avoid the new Dropbox album being created in general?
Let me know.

Hello Nancy I appreciate your reply
This is the situation as you stated:
"Just to clarify, if you go to your iPhone’s Library > All Photos, does the new image you just saved not appear there at all? Does it only show under the new “Dropbox” album that has been created?"

Thanks for clarifying! Did you notice when this started happening exactly? Is this something that changed with the latest Dropbox app update, for example?
If you're not on a free Basic plan with more than 3 devices currently linked, you can reinstall the Dropbox app as the next troubleshooting step and try saving another photo to your phone's library to see if the issue persists.
