Getting an error that a file is not supported?
I have just edited a document that now won't open! I'm receiving a message saying 'this file is not supported. But it was a minute ago and all my other files open just fine Please help!!!
- 8 years agoDoes the file still have the extension on the file name?
E.g. 'My book' wont open in anything, but, 'My Book.docx' will open in Word.

It doesn't. Just the name I gave it :(

- Mark8 years agoSuper User IIYou've not given us any information to work on I'm afraid....
So, you need to rename it either on your computer if thats where you are having the trouble via the normal way of doing it (Google if youre not sure), or, by clicking on the white space next to the file name at www.dropbox.com/home and then clicking on 'Rename' which appears at the right
