Photos vs Camera Uploads

hi, I have moved a lot of pictures out of Camera Uploads into other folders.

Camera Uploads only shows a few photos (that's fine) but many more show under Photos tab.

When in Photos- how can I tell what folder a specific photo is in? And, how does Photos work? is it like a permanent list of every photo that used to be in Camera Uploads?

Please help me understand.  Thanks!

Hi pictureSaver, thanks for messaging the Community!

The Photos tab detects any images across your whole Dropbox account, and displays it there.

Clicking a photo shows the photo and the sidebar on the right will show the current location of that image at the top.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

      Hi,

I have never organised my photos - I have always just uploaded them from my devices (years worth). I now feel like I should be organising them - What is the best way to do that? Copy them into their own folders from the 'photos' tab or from the 'Camera Upload' tab?

      Thanks for your help

Hi getting organised, if the photos are already in the Camera Uploads folder, then it would be easier to move them into their appropriate folders from there.
