Hi Froskurinn,
Hope you don't mind if I chime in here!
Thanks for the additional context, and with that, I would like to confirm that once the photos have been uploaded to the Dropbox account, deleting them from the phone won't affect the content in Dropbox.
Let me know what you find, or if you need anything else.

Hi Froskurinn, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just for confirmation, these other apps provide the ability to delete files from your device after uploading to their cloud services, is this correct?
This will help me to assist further!

The give you an option when the storage on phone and ask if you want to clean up, to free up some space on the phone.
And you can also do it manually in app.

- Froskurinn2 years agoExplorer | Level 4The reason why I'm asking this is because I'm helping friend with her phone. The storage is full on the phone and I'm afraid if I delete the pictures on the phone it will delete also the pictures she already uploaded to Dropbox.
I'm trying to understand how Dropbox is thinking this backup prodeture.- Calvin2DBX2 years agoDropbox Staff
