"waiting for email verification" and my referral space hasn't been granted
in the last 6 monhts, I invited two people to Dropbox. One of whom is my student and the other one is my colleague. While both signed up and installed the app on their laptop and have been using it actively, I have yet to get my 1GB space (2*500MB). When I checked the status online, it still says "waiting for email verification". What the heck, 6 months? I contacted the support team and chatted with them, they just did not care and ended the chat as soon as they hear that I am not trying to upgrade to paid plan.

How to do email verification then? They both signed up using the referral link I sent out to them.
The system is showing they used your link - as you can see it. That isn't the issue.
The issue is the email verification as the error is saying. They can do it via https://www.dropbox.com/home?send_verification_email=1.

The error explains the issue - waiting for email verification. The people you referred have not yet completed that. They need to do that to get the space. Until that happens you wont get it. It wont appear until they do - regardless of timescales.

You were obviously talking to sales then so its only reasonable they did close it - as they cannot access your account info. The only way to get support is via www.dropbox.com/support BUT if you are a paying user. There is no chat for free.
