Any way to turn an Invite to large folder, into a simple share link?
I work with video editors, and they keep "inviting" me to collab on a folder. The folders are bigger than my alloted storage space. I don't need to collab on the folder, I just need to see the folder...

Hi alfalaschiacquia, thanks for posting today!
Currently, it isn't possible to convert a shared folder into a shared link to a folder at this time, since these are two separate sharing methods.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Thanks Jay, appreciate the quick response. I was hoping there was a way. I understand that these are two different ways of sharing via the UI of dropbox, but inherent in the permissions of inviting someone to collaborate on a folder is a base level of access which is identical to the level of access of a basic share link...and that is to view and download files. While I may not have enough space in my dropbox account to add the folder to my account, I think it would be more useful if I was able to use at least that base level access which is to view and download files. The way it is now, you're forcing me to go back to that person and ask them to resend a lower level of share access.....why not let me choose at that moment that lower level of access? Maybe a suggestion for future changes.
