Are we no longer allowed to upload music?
I haven’t been actively using DropBox for over a year. I have some music files of my own original music that I recorded and want to share with others. In the past, this was easily accomplished. I still have a number of my songs saved on DropBox.
Now, I’m finding that DropBox will not allow me to upload any new files other than Word documents and photos. The files I’m having difficulty with are recorded in Recorder Plus on my iPhone. I have a Basic account.
Has something changed in Dropbox’s policies to make this a problem? This used to be easy to do.
Nope, you are still able to upload fine. You've not actually said whats happening though so nobody can really help.
My guess is something has changed in Recorder Plus which is causing the issues. Have you spoke to them? Uploaded to newest version etc.?

- JerryKrantmanExplorer | Level 4Thanks very much for your reply. Knowing that the DropBox policies hadn’t changed (regarding file types allowed) meant that the difficulty was going to be with the other application. I contacted them and found that there was indeed a way to save music files onto DropBox.
