Can't upload multiple files

I'm using Dropbox for the first time and can't seem to select multiple photos off my computer to upload to Dropbox.  It says that I cannot select multiple photos from this location, try selecting a single file instead.  I have many photos to upload, cannot select one by one, it will take forever.  Please help.  Thank you.

  • Oooops, I guess you can't upload from your phone that's plugged into your computer.  I had to transfer the files onto my computer then upload a bunch at once to Dropbox.

It sounds like Gigglepot is correct.

That message is being generated somewhere. It doesnt sound like its coming from our application. Once the file is on the PC, then it should transfer to our folder without issue.

      Hope this helps you.

I just had a class reunion and want everyone to upload their photos to a Dropbox folder I set up for this. Problem is, the invite only allows single photos to be uploadd at a time which will either takea person forever or, more likely, foeget about uploading them... not good.

I could have them email the photos to me and I can upload them to the Dropbox folder, but that defeats the purpose of everyone uploading their own pictures to teh Dropbox.

Isn't there a way for a person to upload multiple files (photos) at a time on a file request?
