Copy Dropbox link to Slack channel once files are finished uploading.

Step 1:  Ideally I'd like to automate sharing a Dropbox link once the files are uploaded to a particular folder.

Step 2: I'd like to share that link on Slack

Step 3: I'd like to share it to a particular Slack channel/ board within an overall Slack channel.

so I guess my question is, are any or some of these steps possible?  I have Slack connected to my Dropbox and vice versa.  But when you add a Slack channel it seems to just go to the Dropbox portion of the Slack channel.  Like you can't paste that into a subfolder of the channel.  Can I do that?

Hey Goom   - thanks for using Dropbox and posting on our Community!

I'm not aware of any automation or app integration that could achieve what you had in mind, but you can take a look for 3rd party integrations that help with automations like this in the App Center.

I'll leave this thread open for any other user that might have something additional to offer though.

I hope this helps a tad.

I mean I'm glad that I know the answer but it seems really silly that Dropbox doesn't offer that functionality.  I'm going to post a separate question about this.
