Any folder that's been shared with another Dropbox user via email invitation should have the "two people" icon on it.
If you don't see this icon on a folder that's shared, please make sure that the folder you're looking at is the one that's actually shared.
Meaning, it could be a subfolder or the parent folder of this folder that's actually shared. Is that the case here?

Root folder has shared access, nested folders inherit it. But there are a few with the same icon as in the screenshot.

Is it possible that the particular subfolder is shared with different people than the parent?
- Perhaps, but in the access lists of this folder the same accounts as in the root. Links for access are also not created in this folder. Email invitations only.
But I check ones agane.
