File size turns smaller when uploading them to Dropbox.
Hi, I have a problem when uploading video’s to Dropbox. I have 4K video recording on an iPhone 14 with an average file size of 8gb. But when I upload the file unto Dropbox, it is shrunken to 1 gb....

Hi Gedenk Socialz, I hope you're doing well!
I'm assuming that you're uploading these files using your mobile, right?
Would you mind clarifying the steps that you follow, and if you use your phone's browser to upload them, or the mobile app?
Does this happen with all your 4K video files?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thank you for your response.
I use the Dropbox App. I go to the specific album and press the upload arrow. I just tried it via the browser and it even didn’t want to upload.
It happens to all the uploads. The Dropbox account has more than 1,5 tb off storage left.
And sometimes, like right now, it doesn’t upload at all. It just says the file cannot be uploaded because it might have been removed (from the phone).

Hey Gedenk Socialz, thanks for replying back!
Would you mind clarifying the device's OS, and the exact version on the Dropbox app that you're currently using?
It happens to all the 4K uploads, or with a smaller file type? Also, what file type are we referring to?
