How can I prevent other users from downloading an eBook?
I'm selling an eBook that customers will download from a link received in their email. I only want the customers who paid for the eBook to be able to download it. I don't want an unscrupulous person to forward the email (and, thus, the link) to anyone who has not paid me to receive it. Is there any way to ensure that behind the scenes with Dropbox?
I have read that there are options for an expiration of the link, but I don't want to have to change the link constantly - plus, I won't know when someone is buying the eBook to go in and update the link for that purpose.
Any help/ideas you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MVertreese, thanks for messaging the Community!
Unfortunately, with any digital content, it wouldn't be possible to prevent other users from sharing any file once they have a digital copy of it.
Even if there was a feature to only allow one specific user to download the book, there would be nothing to stop them from sharing the book itself to anyone else outside of Dropbox.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
