I get this message "Error in call to API function ... We’ve interrupted your sharing activity", why?

I can't get the link for sharing
So what can i do?

    It sounds like your sharing activity has been interrupted due to the information in this article.

     

    Generally, sharing of links would be paused for 24 hours, and subsequent breaches would take longer to resolve. Have you tried removing any recent file that you tried to share?

      My dropbox is still much space I just copied files from USB to Dropbox. I want to share with my friend, but it has notis (image)

      I guess the file is infected with a virus. Now what should I do?

        It should take 24 hours for the pause on your shared links to be lifted. You can also try deleting the files that could contain any viruses in them to help with this process.
