I have embedded .mp files in an image, but they disappear after I upload the file to Dropbox.
I have a powerpoint file with images that have embedded music but when I upload to Dropbox they music is gone.
They were. I solved the issue by delivering on a flash drive as it was local. Still cannot understand why uploading to Dropbox stripped out the music.
i was happy to find i could crop the video files there - which downloaded as discreet files still had the music BTW. Thanks for attempted help. At least it’s finished!

Hey eccentricbee, let's jump right into this!
Which platform did you use to upload and preview your files with? Did you use our desktop app, mobile app or website?
Also, do you have trouble opening the PowerPoint itself or the images in it? You mentioned the images are .mp type, is that correct?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

The files I placed in a PowerPoint doc were Painting_Video_MP4 files that ran perfectly on my desktop in the PowerPoint doc but when I uploaded them to Dropbox the mp4 embedded files were gone. The image was there but no music.

Also I am working on a Mac using PowerPoint and then uploading onto our Dropbox.

Are the embedded files also located in your Dropbox folder/account eccentricbee?
