I need to transfer a file's ownership to another member.
I volunteered to collect family photos and create a slideshow for a funeral for my friend’s family member. I apparently I am the owner of this slideshow’s file, which is eating up a lot of my storage. It’s been five years now and I’d like to delete it, but feel I should transfer ownership of it to a family member in case they want access to it. I would rather it reside in their storage than mine.
I followed the directions to transfer ownership to one of the people in the shared group, going to “manage permissions” but the drop down arrow does not offer that option like the directions said it would. Everyone else in the group only has the “can view” option. How can I transfer ownership and get this slide show out of my storage?

Hey Twe, let's jump right into this!
Just to make sure we're on the same page here: are you referring to a single file, or a shared folder?
Would you be able to send me a couple of screenshots of the steps you follow on your end, and what you see there? Just make sure none of your personal info is shown there.
I'll be waiting for your updates!
