Finder isn't showing my online-only folders.
After a new install on mac studio, I opted for online only, however in Finder under dropbox folder I cannot see most of my folder or files. How do I get my online only folders & files to show?

Hi KickingupDust!
Have you checked the files and folders for any invalid file names, that could be preventing them from syncing?
If I were you, I'd also check the selective sync settings of the app, to see what you can find there.

Hi Megan, I have te same issue. So I continued syncing but dropbox is now overfilling my harddrives with all files on dropbox that I don't want on my computer. I only want to see the online-only icons of all files I have on the dropbox cloud.

CasparD, if you open your local Dropbox folder and right-click on your files, are you seeing an option to make them online-only? If you click on it, does anything change at all, or do the files remain available offline?

Was there ever a fix for this issue? I'm having the same problem. If I switch folders to Online-Only in my desktop folder, the folders then disappear. Only folders synced to my desktop appear in my Dropbox folder. If I select them under Sync in preferences, they re-appear. I would like to see my online-only folders and be able to sync them when I need them... but not have them downloaded to my Mac at all times.

Hey Gronstal - sorry to hear about this.
What is your computer's OS version, and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
Are you referring to folders that are online only on your computer or selectively un-synced perhaps?
What you mentioned would happen with the selective sync feature, that's why I'm asking.
