Shared link permissions settings not working

Hi, I need your help - I have created a shared folder and added all the restrictions possible for a can view option including password protected, only people invited can view, and download disabled. ...

You've referred to a shared folder but the options to protect with a password or disable downloads don't apply to a shared folder. They only apply to a shared link, which is a different method of sharing.

 

If you create a shared folder and invite someone to it, you're specifically inviting them to have either can view or can edit access to the folder. They'll be able to view, download and even make their own copies of the files. Those with can edit access would also be able to edit and delete the files.

 

Are you explicitly inviting someone to the folder, or are you sending them a shared link?
