Sharing activity interrupted because files might contain phishing content
Hi, I just completely emptied my Dropbox space, I uploaded some jpeg images but every time I try to share the files I get the following error message:
Can’t share file - Error in call to API function /2/sharing/create_shared_link_with_settings: We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content.
Could someone kindly help me in finding a solution?
Thx

Hi there UnwelcomedAcoount - sorry to hear about this.
It sounds like your shared links might have been banned. How long have you been getting this error?
Did you receive an email from Dropbox informing you about this perhaps?
Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

Hi Walter,
thanks for your kind reply.
Here below some more details as required
Q: How long have you been getting this error?
A: It's been a long time. In fact, when I first got the error, months ago, I completely cleared my space and waited till today hoping that the problem would go away (e.g. in case it was necessary to wait for chace clearance, etc.). Now, several weeks later, uploading few JPG images, the message is still present.
Q: Did you receive an email from Dropbox informing you about this perhaps?
A: No
